Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work 9 De Abril (A Double-Sided Work) by Alipio Jaramillo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 72,344.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alipio Jaramillo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work 9 de abril was auctioned for USD 110,500.00 (€ 84,765.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 9 De Abril (A Double-Sided Work) von Alipio Jaramillo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 72.344,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alipio Jaramillo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2010 die Arbeit 9 de abril für USD 110.500,00 (€ 84.765,27) versteigert.
