Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ali Kazim achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2011. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work without title sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,296.42) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ali Kazim; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Man On Animal Skin Series) sold at auction in March 2019 with the realized price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,039.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ali Kazim erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.296,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ali Kazim; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled (Man On Animal Skin Series) im März 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.039,19).
