The work Schooner and Cliffs by Alfred Wallis was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,752.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Wallis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St Ives Bay With Godrevy, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 145,250.00 (€ 180,975.11).

Die Arbeit Schooner and Cliffs von Alfred Wallis kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.752,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfred Wallis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit St Ives Bay With Godrevy beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für GBP 145.250,00 (€ 180.975,11) versteigert wurde.
