Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pocahontas by Alfred Jacob Miller was sold in the American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2018. It achieved a price of USD 93,750.00 (€ 82,796.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Jacob Miller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pawnee Running a Buffalo in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,405,478.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pocahontas von Alfred Jacob Miller wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 82.796,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Jacob Miller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pawnee Running a Buffalo im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.405.478,22).
