Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Two Girls by Alfred Henry Maurer for USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,907.33). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Henry Maurer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Woman In White in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 590,500.00 (€ 410,754.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two Girls von Alfred Henry Maurer für USD 8.925,00 (€ 7.907,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Henry Maurer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Woman In White im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 590.500,00 (€ 410.754,03).
