Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Early Landscape by Alfred Henry Maurer. The »bidding war« ended at USD 21,675.00 (€ 20,996.80), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Henry Maurer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Woman In White in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 590,500.00 (€ 410,754.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Early Landscape von Alfred Henry Maurer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 21.675,00 (€ 20.996,80) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Henry Maurer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Woman In White im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 590.500,00 (€ 410.754,03).
