Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction American Art, which included the work Flowers in a White Pitcher by Alfred Henry Maurer. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,680.00 (€ 7,208.56) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Henry Maurer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Woman In White in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 590,500.00 (€ 410,754.03).
