In the Brian Sewell - Critic & Collector auction, the work The Seine at St Cloud sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,632.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred de Bréanski Jnr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening, The Slopes of Ben Nevis; And Ben Tigh, which sold at auction in March 2006 for GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,334.15).
