In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work Evening, The Slopes of Ben Nevis; And Ben Tigh by Alfred de Bréanski Jnr.. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,334.15). With this result, Evening, The Slopes of Ben Nevis; And Ben Tigh is even the most expensive work of art by Alfred de Bréanski Jnr. that we have observed at auctions so far.
