Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alfred de Bréanski Jnr. could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art auction, the work September Morning, Loch Lomond changed hands for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,705.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred de Bréanski Jnr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Evening, The Slopes of Ben Nevis; And Ben Tigh in March 2006 with an auction result of GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,334.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred de Bréanski Jnr. konnte im Januar 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit September Morning, Loch Lomond für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.705,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred de Bréanski Jnr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Evening, The Slopes of Ben Nevis; And Ben Tigh im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.400,00 (€ 16.334,15).
