The work Landscape by Alfred Chavannes was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2021. It achieved a price of CHF 5,040.00 (€ 4,597.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Chavannes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blick von Montreux auf den Genfersee und Dents du Midi. 1880., which sold at auction in June 2012 for CHF 21,600.00 (€ 17,974.99).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Alfred Chavannes kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CHF 5.040,00 (€ 4.597,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfred Chavannes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blick von Montreux auf den Genfersee und Dents du Midi. 1880. beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für CHF 21.600,00 (€ 17.974,99) versteigert wurde.
