Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 21,250.00 (€ 13,098.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alfred Chavannes have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2012 the work Blick von Montreux auf den Genfersee und Dents du Midi. 1880. was auctioned for CHF 21,600.00 (€ 17,974.99).
