In May 2011 Ketterer in Munich held the auction Kunst nach 45 / Zeitgenössische Kunst, which included the work Verformung 5/1971 by Alf Lechner. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,000.00 67% above the estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alf Lechner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kreisauflösung, which sold at auction in July 2020 for EUR 40,000.00.
Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Ketterer in München die Auktion Kunst nach 45 / Zeitgenössische Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Verformung 5/1971 von Alf Lechner zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.000,00 und damit 67% über dem Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alf Lechner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kreisauflösung beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für EUR 40.000,00 versteigert wurde.
