However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexis Grimou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a lady, three-quarter-length, in a white dress with blue bows, and a violet mantle, playing a hurdy gurdy, in a wooded landscape, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 25,062.00 (€ 27,516.41).
