Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'histoire d'une valise by Alexis Akrithakis was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Paris in May 2021. The price achieved of EUR 9,562.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexis Akrithakis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,294.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'histoire d'une valise von Alexis Akrithakis wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.562,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexis Akrithakis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 88.294,06).
