Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A house in the country / Tsiki tsiki by Alexis Akrithakis was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,750.00 (€ 25,396.68). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexis Akrithakis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,294.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A house in the country / Tsiki tsiki von Alexis Akrithakis wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.750,00 (€ 25.396,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexis Akrithakis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 88.294,06) versteigert wurde.
