A top price for Aleksei Stepanov - as previously expected
In October 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work The Village Swing by Aleksei Stepanov. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,585.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Village Swing is the most expensive artwork by Aleksei Stepanov that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Village Swing von Aleksei Stepanov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.585,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Village Swing das teuerste Kunstwerk von Aleksei Stepanov, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
