Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Peasant Women Of The Village by Aleksei Stepanov was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,715.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aleksei Stepanov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Village Swing in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,585.70).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Peasant Women Of The Village von Aleksei Stepanov wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.715,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aleksei Stepanov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Village Swing im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.585,70).
