In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES, which included the work Sleigh Ride by Aleksei Stepanov. The price achieved of GBP 11,352.50 (€ 16,330.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Aleksei Stepanov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work The Village Swing was auctioned for USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,585.70).

Im November 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion RUSSIAN PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sleigh Ride von Aleksei Stepanov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.352,50 (€ 16.330,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Aleksei Stepanov konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2013 die Arbeit The Village Swing für USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.585,70) versteigert.
