The work Four Portraits Of Soldiers: An Officer Of The Rifle Brigade ; Sir Thomas Downman As Aide De Camp To The King ; An Officer Of The Royal Horse Artillery ; A French Officer. by Alexandre-Jean Dubois-Drahonet was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 13,750.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre-Jean Dubois-Drahonet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Frances Anne Vane, Marchioness of Londonderry (1800-1865), full-length, in peeress's robes decorated with jewels and a tiara, inside Westminster Abbey in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 314,500.00 (€ 386,530.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Four Portraits Of Soldiers: An Officer Of The Rifle Brigade ; Sir Thomas Downman As Aide De Camp To The King ; An Officer Of The Royal Horse Artillery ; A French Officer. von Alexandre-Jean Dubois-Drahonet kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion.
