Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Remote Control - Campamento by Alexandre Arrechea. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,033.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Arrechea have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Remote Control - Campamento von Alexandre Arrechea zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.033,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Arrechea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84).
