Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flatiron by Alexandre Arrechea was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,943.26). Admittedly, works by Alexandre Arrechea have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flatiron von Alexandre Arrechea kam im November 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.943,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Arrechea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84).
