Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Contemporary Sale, which included the work The Rape Of Europa by Alexander Sitnikov. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,900.00 (€ 26,255.58). Other works by Alexander Sitnikov have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 30,500.00 (€ 42,707.89) in November 2007 for the work Temptation.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Rape Of Europa von Alexander Sitnikov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.900,00 (€ 26.255,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Alexander Sitnikov haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.500,00 (€ 42.707,89) im November 2007 für die Arbeit Temptation beobachtet.
