Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Puck by Alexander Pope for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,216.68). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Pope achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trophies Of The Hunt in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 370,000.00 (€ 332,285.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Puck von Alexander Pope für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.216,68) erwerben.
