Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reflections by Alexander M. Rossi was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,759.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexander M. Rossi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work By The Seaside in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 57,159.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reflections von Alexander M. Rossi kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.759,96) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander M. Rossi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit By The Seaside im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 57.159,89).
