The work A Good Likeness by Alexander M. Rossi was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in December 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,756.34), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander M. Rossi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work By The Seaside, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 57,159.89).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.756,34) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander M. Rossi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit By The Seaside beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 57.159,89) versteigert wurde.
