Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Beck and Jill by Alex Prager. The price achieved of GBP 2,394.00 (€ 2,816.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alex Prager achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crowd #2 (Emma) in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,192.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beck and Jill von Alex Prager zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.394,00 (€ 2.816,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alex Prager erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crowd #2 (Emma) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.192,26).
