Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Christies in London held the auction Ancient to Modern Art from the Mougins Museum of Classical Art, Part I, which included the work Diana and Acteon by Alessandro Turchi. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 87,088.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alessandro Turchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Communion of the Magdalene, which sold at auction in June last year for USD 327,600.00 (€ 312,923.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Ancient to Modern Art from the Mougins Museum of Classical Art, Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Diana and Acteon von Alessandro Turchi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 87.088,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Turchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Communion of the Magdalene beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für USD 327.600,00 (€ 312.923,87) versteigert wurde.
