Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work David With The Head Of Goliath by Alessandro Turchi for USD 93,750.00 (€ 86,549.11). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alessandro Turchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Communion of the Magdalene, which sold at auction in June last year for USD 327,600.00 (€ 312,923.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit David With The Head Of Goliath von Alessandro Turchi für USD 93.750,00 (€ 86.549,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Turchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Communion of the Magdalene beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für USD 327.600,00 (€ 312.923,87) versteigert wurde.
