Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Penso I Miro Calmo by Alejandro Xul Solar was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 21,250.00 (€ 14,467.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alejandro Xul Solar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mundo in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 71,009.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Penso I Miro Calmo von Alejandro Xul Solar wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 14.467,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alejandro Xul Solar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mundo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 71.009,28).
