Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Barco de Isis by Alejandro Xul Solar was sold in the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in May last year. The auction ended at the price of EUR 12,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alejandro Xul Solar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mundo in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 71,009.28).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Barco de Isis von Alejandro Xul Solar wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 12.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alejandro Xul Solar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mundo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 71.009,28).
