A top price for Alejandro Xul Solar - as previously expected
The work Mundo by Alejandro Xul Solar was sold in the Latin America: Modern Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 71,009.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mundo is the most expensive artwork by Alejandro Xul Solar that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Mundo von Alejandro Xul Solar wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 71.009,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mundo das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alejandro Xul Solar, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
