Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sin título (Estudio para Tablón) by Alejandro Otero was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2017. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 55,624.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coloritmo 57 in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
