Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sin título (Estudio para Tablón) by Alejandro Otero was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2017. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 55,624.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coloritmo 57 in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sin título (Estudio para Tablón) von Alejandro Otero kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 55.624,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coloritmo 57 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40).
