Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Food-Ball by Aldo Mondino. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 11,000.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Aldo Mondino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tappeti stesi in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,528.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Food-Ball von Aldo Mondino zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 11.000,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aldo Mondino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tappeti stesi im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.528,79).
