In October 2012 Christies in London held the auction Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale, which included the work Wimbledon Tournament by Aldo Cosomati. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,973.30), 33% above the upper estimate. With this result, Wimbledon Tournament is even the most expensive work of art by Aldo Cosomati that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wimbledon Tournament von Aldo Cosomati zur Versteigerung kam.
