Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work The Most Settled Way About London by Aldo Cosomati for GBP 750.00 (€ 932.49). This price was achieved in the auction Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Aldo Cosomati have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wimbledon Tournament in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,973.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Most Settled Way About London von Aldo Cosomati für GBP 750,00 (€ 932,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aldo Cosomati auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wimbledon Tournament im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.973,30).
