Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Vintage posters, which included the work Fly B.O.A.C by Aldo Cosomati. It changed hands for a price of EUR 765.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Aldo Cosomati have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wimbledon Tournament in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,973.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Vintage posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fly B.O.A.C von Aldo Cosomati zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 765,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aldo Cosomati auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wimbledon Tournament im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.973,30).
