The »bidding war« ended at GBP 892.50 (€ 997.00), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aldo Cosomati have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wimbledon Tournament in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,973.30).

Die Arbeit Canada, Fly Boac von Aldo Cosomati wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Decorative Arts and Contemporary Ceramics including Vintage Posters bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 892,50 (€ 997,00) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aldo Cosomati auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wimbledon Tournament im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.973,30).
