Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aldo Cosomati could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale auction, the work Waddon Aerodrome changed hands for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,087.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Aldo Cosomati have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wimbledon Tournament in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,973.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aldo Cosomati konnte im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale wechselte die Arbeit Waddon Aerodrome für GBP 875,00 (€ 1.087,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aldo Cosomati auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wimbledon Tournament im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.973,30).
