Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cattle resting; and Milking time by Albertus Verhoesen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2010. The price achieved of EUR 4,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albertus Verhoesen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 21,150.00 (€ 22,722.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cattle resting; and Milking time von Albertus Verhoesen kam im September 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albertus Verhoesen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.150,00 (€ 22.722,39).
