In the An Opulent Aesthetic: An Important Private Collection from an English Country House auction, the work Two hunting dogs in a summer landscape sold for GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,748.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albertus Verhoesen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River, which sold at auction in January 2001 for USD 21,150.00 (€ 22,722.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albertus Verhoesen erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion An Opulent Aesthetic: An Important Private Collection from an English Country House wurde die Arbeit Two hunting dogs in a summer landscape für GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.748,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Albertus Verhoesen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River beobachtet, die im Januar 2001 für USD 21.150,00 (€ 22.722,39) versteigert wurde.
