Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Albertus Verhoesen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in February this year. In the Home & Interiors auction, the work Chickens and a peacock in a landscape sold for USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,322.86) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albertus Verhoesen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 21,150.00 (€ 22,722.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albertus Verhoesen erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Home & Interiors wurde die Arbeit Chickens and a peacock in a landscape für USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.322,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albertus Verhoesen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.150,00 (€ 22.722,39).
