The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 21,150.00 (€ 22,722.39).

Die Arbeit A cowherd and his bull von Albertus Verhoesen wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albertus Verhoesen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cattle, Sheep and a Goat by a River im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.150,00 (€ 22.722,39).
