Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Combustione plastica by Alberto Burri was auctioned at Il Ponte in November last year. It achieved a price of EUR 410,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Burri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sacco E Rosso in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 9,109,000.00 (€ 11,672,058.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Combustione plastica von Alberto Burri kam im November letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 410.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Burri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sacco E Rosso im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.109.000,00 (€ 11.672.058,70).
