Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Albert Willem achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in November last year. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work My Yacht Has A Big Mast sold for GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,101.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Willem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work All In All Not Bad For His First Attempt in June this year with an auction result of GBP 228,600.00 (€ 266,051.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Willem erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit My Yacht Has A Big Mast für GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.101,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Willem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit All In All Not Bad For His First Attempt im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 228.600,00 (€ 266.051,04).
