Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Bride ('Bruiloftsmorgen') by Albert Roelofs was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2007. The price achieved of EUR 120,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Albert Roelofs have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2001 the work Toekomstdromen was auctioned for NLG 367,000.00 (€ 168,446.13).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 120.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Albert Roelofs konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2001 die Arbeit Toekomstdromen für NLG 367.000,00 (€ 168.446,13) versteigert.
