Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Pont Neuf à Paris by Albert Marquet was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 158,500.00 (€ 198,038.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Albert Marquet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Plage De Sainte-Adresse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,538,644.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Pont Neuf à Paris von Albert Marquet kam im Juni 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 158.500,00 (€ 198.038,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Marquet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Plage De Sainte-Adresse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.538.644,81).
