Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Head of a Clown by Albert Bloch. The price achieved of USD 6,630.00 (€ 6,197.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Bloch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Duell (Duel) in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,095,000.00 (€ 967,058.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head of a Clown von Albert Bloch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.630,00 (€ 6.197,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Bloch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Duell (Duel) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.095.000,00 (€ 967.058,20).
