Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Two works: (i) Untitled; (ii) Untitled by Alan Michael for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,360.12). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alan Michael - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (50 Best Films), which sold at auction in September 2010 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,190.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two works: (i) Untitled; (ii) Untitled von Alan Michael für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.360,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alan Michael mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (50 Best Films) beobachtet, die im September 2010 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.190,50) versteigert wurde.
