In April 2013 Phillips in London held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Apologia Pro Vita Positivia by Alan Michael. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,375.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Alan Michael have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2010 the work Untitled (50 Best Films) was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,190.50).
